Teresa Kammerman, M.D. of the Pediatricenter of Greater Cleveland wrote to flaame.org with a concern about the labeling of-over-the counter fever reducers for children.  Parents are often confused over the differences between Tylenol Plus and regular Tylenol.  She noted, “Tylenol Plus is often given by parents [to small children], without realizing that it contains cold medications too.”  She noted that many parents give their children Tylenol Plus in addition to other over-the-counter cold medications, something that can be very dangerous to small infants.

flaame.org encourages adults to consider the ingredients in all such over-the-counter medications, whether administering them to infants, children, teens or self.
